Metamorphosis

I should read Kafka before I write about metamorphosis.   Actually, I did read it:  it was in college. . . sometime.

I've been being 'meta' a lot lately.  What a beautiful thing is 'trusting'.

Having faith.  What a concept!  Neville Goddard says about faith "You don't give reality to the unseen;  it is loyalty to the unseen reality that gives it objectivity."

Our constant turning aside and away is that which untracks everything.

But, it is the persistence and tenacity that we are free to exercise that will eventually wear down and grind off the old, incorrect ideas and teachings.  And that can only be done by the individual.

Dr. Kennedy Schultz points out that this is something that can't be bought or borrowed or passed along.  Only the person can - and must - persevere and insist within themselves on keeping their own orientation towards the light.

And so much of the noise in the world is people bleating and screaming about their lost sense of direction.  There is usually an accompanying unawareness or convenient oversight as to who is responsible.  We can't heed that.  Not that we should be callous or anything.  But Neville is correct, in my estimation, when he says about complaining: "I'll tell you this much:  no one cares!"

Aside from being happy to welcome you to their lowered sense of self, avid listeners to complaints will walk away unaffected.  They will have given you nothing but the chance to sharpen your own knife of self-deprecation, and watched you use it on yourself.  As part of the transaction, you will have given them a boost to smugness, and they shove off a little more locked into their own small view of the world.

Find those around you who are looking up.  You'll notice that they don't really have time for your rehashing of the past or imagining the worst for either the worlds future or your own.  On the other hand, express your own goals, your own intents, and your own embracing of the moment - and live that way as best you can - and you'll find them in your own camp, and you in theirs.

It's a metaphysical camp.  And it's beautiful.
